Re: anyone from NZ or Aus?
Hi again,
My problems seem to revolve around stress. A psychotherapist called me a "reluctant mother" ;I have two children aged 1 and 3 that I just can't control, she also diagnosed me recently as being severely depressed (Tell me something I don't know!). My brother was diagnosed last year with bowel cancer that had spread to his liver. He died seven months later at age 34, after a great deal of pain and suffering. At the same time as my brother was dying, my husband had to have 45cm of his colon removed due to the presence of pre-cancerous polyps. I was told that my children should be being tested for polyps (colonoscopy) before they are 30. Consequently I worry about everything that my children put in their mouths and cut myself up with anxiety over why my husband won't lose weight. His cancer risk (already high) is significantly increased by the fact that he is over weight. We also were forced to sell our home due to failed financial circumstances.
I have been diagnosed this year as being moderately hypothyroid, having a goitre, and close to adrenal burnout. So I take natural hormone replacements (T3, T4, DHEA and cortisone). I also have very low sex hormones, so I use natural progesterone cream for that. I have done around 20
Liver Flushes in the last year and a half, since I first started to feel pressure in the right ribcage area. I have only had a couple of gallbladder attacks in the past, but have found the flushes to be very beneficial in removing that ribcage pressure. I have lost 40kg during the course of the flushes and no longer use asthma medication (Ventolin) - although this may also be related to the fact that I avoid all dairy products. When my brother was dying I started to have hot flushes and night sweats - a naturopath referred to this as the start of a stress induced menopause (I'm only 40). I also started to experience a lot of bowel irritability, diarrhea and lower abdominal pain that moved around. This was generally agreed by three doctors as being irritable bowel syndrome but they just wanted me to take anti-depressants (which I refuse to do). The naturopath and a more alternative doctor referred to it as dysbiosis. Then I started to become very, very gassy, with lots of loud bowel noises and a lot of discomfort. I cut down the amount of carbohydrates I was eating, but this was not the complete answer as I found I had become intolerant of so many things that my diet was extremely limited. I read about Threelac here and decided to try it. I am half way through my second can. I have found that my gassiness is now reduced by about 75% and the "quality" of my bowel movements is much improved, although I still have lower abdominal pain. No more diarrhea (so far). I'll be continuing with the Threelac. I got it from the guy in Sydney who has posted here - his website is www.candida.cjb.net. He also refers to a supplier in NZ if he hasn't got any in stock.
I have also taken many other products - two you might be interested in are called CandaPlex and Tri-plex from the Original Herb Company (24 London Drive, Bayswater, Vic (03) 9762 3777). I got both of these from my local health food shop (Bendigo). The Tri-plex contains
Black-Walnut ,
Wormwood and clove so I guess it's very similar to the Clark formula.
That's my life story! Hope it helps.
