Re: Candida in Kefir

I am not an expert by any means. It is just what I have found on the net, because I was interested about it. From Doms site, Kefir has a few different yeasts but they are apparently good for the human body, they are not like bakers yeasts that can upset the balance; they are apparently natural. I suppose if you are allergic to yeasts, like brewers yeast, then this may give you a reaction, even though it is a good one. But, then again, drinking the Kefir should balance your gut flora because it has so many live lactobacillus species and other goodies in it. I think you just have to give it a go. Your body will tell you if you are suited to it or not. If you are getting good results, keep with it.
