CNO, we appreciate your information on coconut oils health benefits, but if you want to continue to covertly try and market your Tropical Traditions brand of coconut oil perhaps those messages would be better off in the Marketplace forum. You have a vested interest in your brand, so we have no reason to hold much validity with your opinion as you are not a consumer, but an owner. Because the centrifical spun coconut oil is much preffered in taste by most all customers in a side by side comparision of TT's oil and the spun oil, what the other fellow is saying is quite true and has much merit.
For those that are intersted in real people's uncesored opinions, there is a yahoo group called coconut oil open forum. The hot topic under discussion at this time happens to be the difference in taste of TT's oil and Coconut Supreme (a centrifical spun virgin coconut oil brand). At the moment, TT oil is 0-10, with everyone preffering the taste of the Coconut Supreme. Tasting them side by side they say that TT has almost a rancid taste comparitively with the light, rich flavor of Coconut Supreme's. Annette from Wilderness Family Natural's had a very informative message as to the difference's in tastes, I would highly recommend reading this message and other back messages to see people's opinions. The Tropical Traditions coconut group does not allow discussion of other brands of coconut oil, and now it is easy to see why... Tweet
