Re: Coconut oil and hair

Hi shums. There are lots of web pages out there with info on natural methods for treating hair loss, just type in "hair loss" in your searcher. It's true that your diet is very important for growing healthy hair and if you are malnourished you can lose hair, so get your proper nutrients! I also read that rubbing your scalp with unsalted butter will help hair regrow, I never did that though so can't talk from experience. I do use coconut oil for healthy hair. I also use brahmi which is an ayurvedic herb the package says it's just powdered thyme, so perhaps you could try grinding thyme leaves into a powder mixing it with coconut oil to form a paste and rubbing it on your scalp. Wash it out after an hour or 2. I also use a few drops of rosemary essential oil every day and henna once a month. These things will all help you get wonderful hair. I have always had very coarse dry dark hair and no one would ever have called it soft or silky, but now thanks to these things that I just wrote about I finally do have soft silky hair.
