For those who are/were married...

I thought some input might be helpful for those who have doubts about getting married, and for those who might have the notion that a wedding will "fix" things in their relationship. Did getting married change your relationship? For the better or worse? Did you fight more or less? Did you become closer or more distant? Was the change what you expected?
