When people disregard what you tell them

Maybe I am just too worked up over things!

I lately saw people who were drinking splenda and seeing them all gathered around putting it in their coffee after a dinner. These people have been close friends of mine for years. Well I just said that stuff is bad for you, and they scoffed at me shrugging their shoulders rolling their eyes up, saying everything's bad for you! (Then returning to their conversation it looked like they wished I would go away)

Now im not a strict menu type person. I do a lot of reading though, and somethings I just will not touch.

But it hurts when you constantly have this around you. Even my loved ones do not believe me and recently I sent out the Aspartame video that was posted at the News forum. And recieved a reply with the Urban Legends website saying that all the claims of dieseases are not backed up by the FDA reports and its basically nonsense.

Why does this bother me right now?

I think I need to chill out and just not respond to these people? When I respond to them it just gets worse.

Any suggestions? It seems to be happening a lot lately to me. When you get offended when someone says something that you KNOW is wrong......

I read, the Wise Person does not argue.

When I put out evidence, they still do not believe it. So is this it? Never spread the truth? Or, dont respond to people who dont believe it?
