I saw in another thread that Somer is doing a series of 10-day fasts. I'm going for the same. But anyone can jump in or out when it's good for them. I started my pre-fast diet tonight with salad for dinner and a nectarine for dessert. I usually eat fruit in the mornings only, but it was either eat a nectarine or a big bowl of ice cream!
Tomorrow, my husband and I will start adding juice into our routine. Apple/cranberry juice in the morning. Carrot juice for the afternoon. Hubby is working up to a liver flush, so we'll be using a lot of apple juice throughout. He's not committing to a true juice fast, but to having a lot of juice and staying off the traditional restaurant fare. He works in a restaurant and gets free meals. Lots of fried stuff, high in cholesterol, etc...
