Re: 4 year-old child's oozing, crusting eczema

Hi, all I can say is that it is helping my daughter. What I would do is try it ONCE at bedtime and see if it's better. If it's better than I assume it would be great to use. If you insist on a cream, I'd mix the turmeric in with a moisturizing cream instead. I don't know why sesame oil is "the" oil unless it has special properties.
She didn't see any effects until after 5 days. Herbs are more gentle than "knock it over the head" drugs, of course. They always take longer to work.
An alternative to use is NEEM OIL. You buy the capsules, take those and apply (or spray, diluted) the oil. Neem trees are from India and have recently been imported into Florida. They are selling the oil, leaves and bark!! 99% of insects stay away from Neem trees. I have a bottle I got from the internet. I put half a capful in a spray bottle with warm water and a few drops of dishwashing liquid, shake it up and spray it on my feet , ankles and THRESHHOLDS of my home (at the doorsteps)to keep insects away. ( had the best price I could find BUT she charges five bucks handling per box)I have read that neem cures eczema but please do your own research. aster
