In the early stages of my candida infection, fruit seemed to aggravate. However, once in control I can eat one or two peices of whole fruit per day without problems.
I feel that trying to live on a limited strict candida diet for too long can be detrimental as it would be difficult to maintain weight and get all nutrients. I also eat one whole grain per day. I am still losing weight even doing this even though I eat 2000 cals per day. I am 5' 6" and weight only 116.
Everyone is different. Those who can tolerate fruit should eat it in moderation IMO.
Same with whole grains esp spelt, amaranth, and others wo gluten.
