Re: diet has very little to do with this

Everyone has there reasons of why this is happening. Personally i have my own. I don't believe this is yeast, or internal or anything like that. I think its from exessivly picking at my lips for a extended amount of time. Lips aren't like the rest of our skin. And they seem to heal much slower. I hear alot that the scabs are infections, yeast ect. I don't believe this. I believe the sacbs are exactly what they are. Scabs. And i believe they are their to heal the skin underneath. One time i was working outside and my lips got real chapped and i kept licking them to soften em up and they got even more chapped. They got so chapped that the scabs were really tight, not loose and easily pickable like they usually might be. Anyway 2 weeks later they came off and my bottom lip seemed to have heal a bit from the bottom up and my top lip seemed to heal a little bit from the top down. I am starting to believe that these scabs are there for a reason and the only reason their unable to heal is because they fall off so easily. i am going to go tonight out into the cold and lick my lips till they get chapped to try it again.(pretty hard up huh? lol) i wouldn't recommend doing this, for all i know it can make the condition worse. I'll post my results in two weeks. As far a what i do to cure them i dont do anything. Everything seemed to make t worse, blistex, chaped stick, carmes, even breast feeding nipple cream... HA! However one thing that made my lips feel and appear better was... im drawing a blank... i think it was called avion. It looks like a white lipstick. One time my friends found it and ripped on me a bit. Because it appears quite girly. I'll have to find one laying around the house like i said i haven't used anything in a while. If i find one ill post the name.
