You are detoxing very fast if you are not using any syrup. Lemons and water provide a very deep and intense detox, more than most people can comfortably handle. On top of that, some form of Sugar is essential to make sure minerals are being absorbed into the system. You can reduce the amount of Maple syrup used, but you should not eliminate it entirely. I would suggest you get some evaporated cane juice and add a small amount to each drink. A little will not have a huge affect on your pH level, and it will give you a bit more energy and help you absorb the crucial minerals.
