If you want to embrace being sick and miserable, that is your right. But-believe it or not-you may not be doing the correct thing for your body. Detoxing too fast is very hard on your body. You are putting tremendous stress on your liver and kidneys, and possibly your heart. You are also kicking your already compromised immune system in the butt, because it cannot possibly deal with all the poisons you are dumping in your bloodstream. You are making yourself wide open for any virus or bacteria that gets a hold of you. No person should Water Fast (or fast with only lemon juice) for ten days without supervision unless they have months, if not years of fasting experience behind them. A five day fast and a Colon Cleanse was probably not anywhere near enough to prepare you for something this intense. Please be very careful.I am surprised your doctor is willing to sanction such an extreme fast without any supervision.

By the way, while pH balancing is important for overall health; remember that the pH of blood does not vary very much. The body constantly monitors and corrects blood pH. It is highly unlikely that a virus that is in the blood stream will be that radically affected by diet alone. Now the 80/20 alkaline/acid ratio is right, and that is a good start for a healthy diet. Chlorella and Spirulina are both good supplements, and will strengthen the blood with iron and vitamin K.

I hope this fast will work for you, but, I would not recommend it to others, it is too extreme and potentially dangerous. Its much better to start slowly and gently detox rather than go too fast and be sick, weak and susceptible to other illnesses due to stressed out liver, kidneys,and immune system due to a toxic overload.

Once again, be careful and do not allow yourself to become too sick. Do not take hot salt baths when you are alone, they can cause a sudden drop in blood pressure that results in fainting. If you decide on enemas, also be careful. Too many enemas can affect your electrolyte levels, wash away important bowel flora, dehydrate you, and reduce normal bowel function. (of course so can the salt water flush when done too often or incorrectly)
