Hello - I apologize for not seeing your question.

The herbs mentioned (onions, garlic, sage, thyme, ginger, cinnamon and cloves) can actually be purchased in the spice section of grocery stores - ground powders. The 1/4 teaspoon amounts just help keep the body unfriendly towards parasites.

You can eat them in your food - for example, ginger, cinnamon and cloves can spice up oatmeal or applesauce and the more savory herbs can flavor chicken, rice, potatoes, etc.

The type of alcohol talked about is isprophyl alcohol - rubbing alcohol - which is used in many household cleaning products - not the alcohol that is consumed.
