All meat eaten after the meat has been killed will become a breeding ground for more and more "whatevers".
Thus its not the meat per se that neats to be "sterilized" - in fact this would cause problems as well...
As above: It is more a matter of keeping your microflora updated on a variety of beneficial Bifidobacterium/Probiotics/Beneficials. So Joghurt, Kefir, Kombucha, Kvass, and Rejuvelac.
And as above the use of Horseradish/Wasabi acts to kill the harmful things while not hindering the beneficials. Also another reason to eat Lactic Fermented vegetables like Home-made Sauerkraut and Kim Chee.
Also part of the reason that Garlic is medicinal - Its the Sulphur compounds that kill the Baddies. By corollary Vegans shouldn't really consume so much of it.

These are Cayenne, Echinaceae, Garlic, Ginger, Ginseng, Horseradish, Licorice, and Yellow Dock.
So for the ultimate Immunity zap you would use all of them. But also why each one is valid for immunity on its own merit - they all activate an individual gland.
