WOW! That is something similar to what my ob said to me when the IUD was inserted. "The hormone is such a low dose that it won't even enter the blood stream." Is that on the doc's information as a sales pitch for the product I wonder???Very interesting indeed. The doc that took the IUD out was another female doc since I could not see my own doc, and she sort of did the same thing to me. "Maybe you need to see a counselor for all the stress in your life and start exercising regularly." She was not too, too condescending toward me, but I could tell she thought I was full of crap. I told her to go to the forum and see for herself what was going on for all of us. You know what is ironic, my personal ob has a mirena IUD and she has had all of these symptoms and probably has no idea that this IUD is the culprit.  I really need to call her to let her know about this forum soon. That way she can start living mirena free and maybe let others know about it as well. LIKE ALL OF HER PATIENTS!!!!!
