Re: my lip wound
I've left them on before and if kept completely dry they will stay on for along time. Mine stayed on for almost a month, but it wasn't a good thing, it felt terrible, i exfoliate constantly now, thats what works best for me, i don't believe leaving them on and letting them go through their natural cycle is a bad thing, but i can deffinitly say keeping them dry is, when i did it my lips felt like stone, and it was very painful to get off. Snipping the loose pieces is a good way to go about it as well, just keep in mind that many of us have tried this method before with no results, so if your going to have to be in the public eye, i'd ask why bother when there is a good chance it won't work.
However if you only licked them raw i guess there's a better chance, i licked mine raw and then bit at them while they were healing, so im alot worse off. Now i just accept them and deal with them. Someone should put together a convention for all us lip pickers, we could all come and party and then at the end of the night play spin the bottle. Who would complain?
