We have lived in our house for over 20 years and only sprayed one year when we were overrun with ticks in the 80's... I let the spiders and lizards along with the cat do their thing and rarely have any problems... the occasional ants and a tick or two is all we find outside and inside of our house outside of the spiders and small lizards.

Of course, and this is the hard thing to do, you have to like spider webs and it does take a while to reestablish populations of the "good" bug eating bugs and small critters... Tweet
