Try putting a cup over the spider and then sliding a piece of paper underneath. When you've got your hairy little friend where you want him, have a nice long talk with him along the lines of "me, nice warm house, you, bushes" or somesuch. And tell him to tell his friends...and THEN dump him in the junipers!

That's what I do. Seriously. Does it work? One spider at a time...
