Thanks for your reply zyxw. I don't have a cough, but my daughter has asthma, could be related to this, can't say for sure. I had some sort of lung thing going on right before this took me down. Here is what I use for coughs and colds, thanks to Oscar R. Gleason from his book printed in 1890, equal parts of cayenne pepper, elecampane, gentain root, anise seeds, maybe a oz or two of each. Grind really well in a coffeegrinder. This works best when taken two ways. Put the powders in a baggie shake it up a little and sniff it, only a small sniff at first. Expect alot of sneezing and coughing and some burning sensation in your nose. When you recover from that put some honey on a spoon then put 1/8 to 1/4 of a teaspoon of the powders on the honey then cover that with honey and swallow it. Have a glass of water ready to drink. That can be done in any order. Also a great help for the lungs is Hops. Put a large pot of water on the stove add a couple handfuls of hops, bring to boil remove from stove, use a towel over your head and around the pot to direct the steam to you, and breath the steam. I use the powders in addition to everything else I do and feel they are helping. At least twice a day is best. Good luck and let me know how it goes or if you have questions.
