Yeah! My advice is to call your docs office and see another doc and get it out today!! 4 weeks! I've have had mine out 57 days now, (read my post from today), and I would not wait another minute. Tell them that you are desperate. Tell them you are having sever cramping from it and it has to come out now! Anything to make them see the urgency. With same day appointments, it is all about urgency perception of the advice nurses. Let them know how it is hurting you and that it can't wait any longer. That is what I did when I called. I didn't get my own doc, but I didn't care. I just wanted the thing out. I read the posts on this site, called the doc and went in the next day at PM. If they had had an earlier time, I would have snatched it up.

You will be normal again, but the thing has to come out. It didn't hurt at all when I had it out, but everyone is different. Don't wait any longer. You won't regret having it out, and the sooner the better.

If I sound like a broken record, forgive me, but I say this because I care about you women who have suffered unnecessarily on this IUD. Mirena should be taken off the market!!!!!!!
