If it is the same thing used for aquariums:

I read a post that suggested its use. Went and bought mine at Petco.

It lists direction per gallon in the back of the container

It was very inexpensive ( a small capful to treat the whole tub)

Don't know about safety - but fish live in it...

Used it myself and felt fine (I am not overly sensitive though..)

that said:

I also read that you can fill the tub with the hotest water
Let it evaporate
the chlorine is gone with the steam

May find references in the bath and /or Oxygen forum...
