I did read on one of those Iodine links about a doctor who found that those who couldn't tolerate the Iodine treatment/therapy where those with chemical sensitivities, who's bodies were most likely dumping heavy metals and excess chloride and bromide. I have read that once Iodine is available to the body it starts to dump these metals very quickly which could cause temporary discomfort or worsening of symptoms (detox reactions).
