Re: Mirena & Bleeding

I have the same issue. Had it inserted July '06. Since then, it seems like I bleed every 2 weeks (sometimes only spotting but can last for a week or longer). Also, 24 hours or so before I get my period I have severe pain where my ovaries are located (both sides). Is this normal? Last night, I woke up with the chills and sweats. I am fine this morning. Do you think I might have an infection from this IUD? I am waiting for my husband to get the "V" before I have this thing removed. Tweet
