ahem... can I use a product meant for dogs?

Ok, don't kill me, please..

I have eczema problems and since I have read a lot about the wonders of slippery elm, I wanted to try to use it. Unfortunately it seems to be impossible to get it in my country, however I found a pet product which is sold here - Tree Barks Powder - that contains Slippery Elm Bark 90%, White Poplar Bark 10%. Contains only plant material conforming to British Pharmacopoeial specifications. It may sound weird, but what do you think? Am I mad to even consider it? Tweet
