Re: Multiple Sclerosis A holistic approach
Docta Dennis, I've fallen in love with liquid soybean lecithin. I take a formula that is 50/50 with evoo. My liver craves the stuff!!!
You know how I am about readReadREADING. In Kevin's first book, he'd mentioned, talking about the fast food industry adding it to foods to make us crave more. That made me start reading, wondering why lecithin.
The brain is over 50% made of human lecithin, a product of the liver. The nerve sheathes are made of it. Our blood vessels are coated with it. When there isn't enough lecithin from plant sources in our diet, the liver then makes cholesterol to use to patch the blood vessels ... voila ... artery/heart dis-ease.
You and I should probably both be reading more on this marvelous product of the garden. Soybeans are getting a bad rap when it's man that's turning it into an ugly product, GMO/processed foods made from soy to replace meat and dairy ... sheesh. God doesn't make mistakes!!!! He put soybeans here for some purpose, I'm going with the oil of the soybean.
I'm wondering what the effects of soy lecithin would have in aiding MS patience. Got any reading under your belt on this?
