Has Mirena affected your marriage?

My wife has had a Mirena IUD in for the last four years and our marriage has suffered drastically. Don't get me wrong, we are the greatest of friends but our sex life has never been the same. She does not seem in her right mind at times and I have always felt this has had something to do with it. She still claims she loves me very much but has no desire for me sexually at all. She feels we should divorce. I am still very much in love with her and cannot believe she is wanting to do this. It seems very irrational. Has anyone heard of the Mirena IUD affecting anyone in this way? Does anyone know of any studies that may have been done that shows these kinds of results so as I can show her.
