I had mine removed on 4/10/07 and I was not on my period either. I have not had a period for 3 years since having the dang IUD. Let me tell you, IT DID NOT HURT ONE LITTLE BIT! I thought it hurt being inserted, but it was NOTHING to have it removed. Go and get it out!! I feel 100X better now that it is OUT! Good Luck!
