I haven't had children and had it fitted age 31. Never stopped bleeding and was in serious pain since fitting. GP gave me 2 courses of hormone tablets and even they failed to stop the bleeding. I was told that they couldn't increase the dosage as i was already receiving the highest.The iud didn't help me one bit and my GP told me my body was rejecting it. Eventually i had it taken out nearly 3 months later. Hope this helps. It works for lots of women just not all of them. If you don't feel well listen to your body. Tweet
