I agree that doctors are not exactly helpful because they all have something else to say and none of there facts are the same. I have been having pains in my lower left abdominal area for around five years (i'm twenty) and every doctor I have seen pretty much tells me its in my head. When I was fifteen, I had a ruptured cyst on my left ovavry and had to be hooked to a morphine drip for eleven hours. Since then, I have switched so many birth control pills that I've lost count. My GYNO wants to insert the Mirena IUD but I'm scarred. Hey, everyone would be if they had to have something shoved in there uterus, right? Men have it so easy. What would you sugest? should I try the IUD or try something else?
