Try doing the basic protocol set forth on oilpulling.com (sesame or sunflower oil, 1x per day for 20 minutes, preferably in the morning before you have eaten). Try that for a couple of weeks to get the hang of it, and then you can start trying different oils, upping the frequency, etc.
Another thing to consider is going over to the Iodine Support forum and checking out Iodine and mercury chelation. Iodine chelates metals from the body, so it might be worth your consideration.
