Re: Can I use coconut oil instead of sunblock?

I would think that oil would make your skin burn. I wouldnt put coconut oil on my skin before going out in the sun if I didnt want to burn. I know my mother and aunt use to put olive oil on there skin before sunbathing in the 60's to get sunburned. I wouldnt think coconut oil would be much different...
maybe use it on your skin after you have been out in the sun and have washed the sunblock off?
