Like I said in a post lower down, essential oils are not meant to be applied directly to the skin, they need a carrier oil. They will definitely burn the skin if applied direct and with the added lugols, it's no wonder you burnt. I put a little VCO on my skin first and then paint the lugols. I much prefer to paint with Lugols cause the cheaper stuff has alcohol in it. Tweet
