I am 32 and having my Mirena removed tomorrow morning. With all the types of bc, in my opinion anything with hormones I can now do without! I've decided that I'm going to be fitted with a diaphram (no hormones). The whole Merina thing has me scared to death now. I'm too young to be having all these problems! Years ago I was on the pill (ortho and estrostep fe) with no problems other than weight gain. Ortho has a low dose now if you're dead set on the pill. Also, a friends with a copper iud and one with the norplant and their both happy. Good luck in your search! Tweet
