I too, have no insurance right now...but once I realized what was happening with my body I was on a mission to get it out! I have 3 kids and a newborn- I KNOW how you feel...Go to the Doc that inserted your Mirena and even if you have to "embellish" a bit-make a hollar and they will see to it that they take it out. ( I even had to have surgery to get mine out-can't wait to get that bill!)I told my doc that the left side of my body was going numb and stuff like that and he tried to take it out immediately. They put it in you-they have some liability where that's concerned.I had to sign payment arrangements for the $750 they are charging me to take it out, but I intend to slap them with a big certified letter in the mail about how they did not so much as give me an official mirena phamplet before the procedure-just some very vague papers on IUD's and Birthcontrol that was published in 1994! You have rights-get that thing out of you...I PROMISE YOU IT WILL BE WORTH IT!!!!!
