Did you mean 16 teaspoons of Bentonite in your recipe, instead of 16 tablespoons? I mix 16 teaspoons to 2 cups of water with an immersion blender and let it sit overnight in the fridge. It is about the consistency of yogurt the next day. Each 2 tablespoons of the mix is equal to 1 teaspoon of Bentonite clay. I think if you used 16 tablespoons, it would really set up too stiff to use.
By the way, can anybody tell me the ingredients in the liquid Bentonite available in stores? Is it just bentonite clay and water?
