I keep coconut oil in my kitchen window and it's usually "soft," but even when I've dug it out of the jar when it was hard, it softened within seconds and stayed soft and got thinner and thinner. The only problem is you've got to be careful not to heap the TBSP. I got too much one time and had a coughing and gagging fit.
I sometimes add Oil of Oregano, but I've also pulled with a drop of 35% food grade H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) (wouldn't recommend it as a rule necessarily but it whitens your teeth in a hurry). I haven't tried peppermint oil yet but that sounds good. Is there a benefit to peppermint? I've also used sunflower (not my favorite - too thin), almond, grapeseed, walnut, sesame.
I'd also be interested in a "kick a**" combo. Even though OPing has been around for a long, long time I think we're all kind of making this up as we go along and personally, I think it's kind of fun to see what all is happening with myself, my mother and all the rest of you guys or as we say in Texas - all ya'll.
