Arthritis type symptoms

For almost two months now, I've had swollen, sore, red knuckles in my hand. My left pinkie has a "nodule" on it, like rheumatoid arthritis or something.

My right knuckle is swollen, stiff and sore.

I went to my PCD, to get a referral for a Rheumatologist, but he would not give me one until I had labs done through him.

Just got the results back today, and everything was normal!

No type of arthritis whatsoever. No gout. No uric acid. No elevated ANA. Nothing.

What else could swollen, sore, red knuckles with nodules on them mean?

One thing I should mention is that my body stays pretty acidic-around 6. Nothing I do keeps it alkaline for very long at all though. I eat healthy, and excercise also.

Any ideas?
