While it would be great to think that Mom would
sit down at a computer and educate herself, you
may have to do the research yourself and become
well versed in the benefits of coconut oil yourself.
Then, perhaps you will be able to help her realize
that there is a healthier oil which she may consider
using. I just made the transition this year, after
educating myself, to use coconut oil for baking,
cooking, and of course eating. I love that it really
does reduce cravings and have found that my hair and
skin also look so much better. I will continue
to use it now and also have taught my daughter to
use it. Here are a bunch of great links to articles,
many of them by Ray Peat who is a biologist and physiologist.
