Re: Maybe some Mirena devices malfunction?

Maybe some women have an allergic reaction to the synthetic hormone levonorgestrel or to the device itself. Allergies can manifest in ways not descibed in the manufacturer literature in ways like some of the awful symptoms we all have had. Or the synthetic hormone could just destroy some women's hormonal balance and adrenal function.

I wish we could find somebody to do a research project on this. Has anyone started keeping a record of numbers, how long til women reacted, symptoms, post removal changes? Has anyone started a lawsuit?

Thanks again to all of you for your imput and basically saving my life! I am 7 days post-removal and feel almost completely myself again...have been sleeping and with dreams for the first time in almost a year! Tweet
