Just keep up with it. Oil pulling has done remarkable things for me and I am sure it will do a lot for you. I can understand you wanting "results" but be patient. I have been oil pulling for 8 months now and just plod along with it. It takes a while to get rid of chronic problems so just do what is manageable and stick with it. I chose a new moon to begin - it was in Virgo! I will be doing this practice forever. I love it so much.
I was interested in the vocal Kirtan with the calling of seed sounds and singing. You are so lucky to have an ashram life...Thank you so much for the information too about it. I like to think of it as devotional singing and it makes me happy. I wish I had of become a yogi years ago but it was not part of my plan - I still have to be in the world. I hope you get so much joy from your daily practice. Yes I do know a little about mudras. I don't know what yoga to do, the local naturopath said yoga is yoga.
I will keep up the kirtan and try and do more yoga. I got into Tibetan yoga years ago but it was very vigorous and I am slightly overweight which made it difficult. I recently got into Rudrakshas too and am so pleased I got them - do you wear them too?
Molly on this forum has shared other places to get different types of oils - Mountain Rose Herbs she recommended off the internet. If you go in there you will see just about every type of oil imaginable. I just got some avocado from the supermarket and am getting through some macadamia nut oil as well. I tried the avocado oil this morning.
Good luck and keep everyone posted on your results. Many people have been relieved of spinal pain etc and have come off piankillers so you are not imagining things - it is really working, but you get so astounded by it first off and just accept it as a commonplace thing. The extraordinary becomes a part of life. I hope that you get some more results with it.
I read about a Russian Barber's balding remedy too which is an inside treatment which as been approved by nurses, it involved rubbing your scalp with Vodka and onion juice
and many people have got their hair back. It really works. You may like to google these words on the internet and find more information. I learned about it through a pair of well-known herbalists who have appeared on CNN and they have included it in one of their books, but you can get it off the internet. I bet it is great. Anyway you look into it. I am interested in healing and natural remedies...
