I am a Dr. and the only way I think any one can do something like that is being un ethical... sometimes there are cases in which the cavity is too large and the filling will help the inevitable, but the dentist should said so before beginning the filling.. with the X-ray allways tells you that... sometimes the cavity is large but not to get near to the nerve, when this happen the proper thing to do is to put a base that will protect the nerve and then the filling... I am sorry for your experience I hope you don't have more experiences like these... In my point of view and what I have studied there is nothing for reverting these stage...
