For the first time I clicked on the link that shows up every time a person types the word root canal here on this forum and it was very scary reading. My husband had a root canal and my 15 year old son had to have root canal done on his front two teeth after an accident breaking them off.

My question, after reading that, is what is the alternative to having a root canal done when the dentist says it is necessary. Second, what to do if you have already done the root canals to prevent any bad things from happening, aside from oil pulling? My 15 year old will not oil pull.
