I think the date like consistency is the liver flukes but they haven't completely died or turned into the 'skins' yet. THe bean skins are also liver flukes, but I think those have been dead awhile. I could be wrong however. I did let some of my date like consistency pieces spend some hours on a napkin and they quickly dehydrated and turned into the skins.
