During my last three liver flushes, I have experienced severe pain, nausea and/or vomiting. These symptoms occur between 3 to 8 hours after the Liver Flush "drink" has been taken (at night). I don't understand why the Liver Flush has suddenly "turned" on me...

I have been following Dr. Clark's instructions for the Liver Cleanse since January (2002). I have completed 21 flushes to date (one flush every two weeks). Before the last three flushes, I never experienced any problems. In fact, for the first time in over two years, I found myself able to eat "normally" again (i.e., without recurrent - sometimes daily - episodes of severe pain & vomiting).

However, I am beginning to experience episodic pain & vomiting again (during the flush as well as in between flushes) and have lost more weight. I am very worried and unsure as to what is causing my "relapse" toward poor health. My family is encouraging me to have my gallbladder removed (as I was diagnosed with gallstones/biliary colic & duodenitis in June of 2000), but I do not want to.

I am considering switching to a new Liver Flush recipe. I have read a few recipes from this wonderfully helpful web site and one seems doable. However, it does not involve the use of Epsom Salts , and I am afraid to do a flush without Epsom Salts (in case a moving stone were to become stuck).

If anyone has any experience with flushes that do not use Epsom Salts - or any advice at all for me - it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you in advance.
