I have a refractometer at home that I use to see when my tomatoes are ripe, (I used to work in a lab where we used many different refractometers for various things), you will get very high brix readings from rotten fruit, the Sugar content is very high, but would you want to eat it??

Samples that have a high pesticide content also give high and fuzzy reading, because of the amount of dissolved solids, namely the pesticides, wanna have a munch on those??

Hv and others have tried to point out the failings using this system to try and identify good quality fruit and vege, but people are blinded by MLs blitherings, and will just take on anything he says.

Glad you woke up before it was too late, you seem far to sensible to stay stuck in the cult.
