There have been some studies showing that hyperimmune colostrum heals intestinal permeability in rats.

The one I bought says it has lots of IgG in it. But I also read a medical report saying that people get intestinal candidiasis by being IgA - deficient. Maybe colostrum also has some IgA in it, not sure.

The colostrum is hyperimmune, even though I am not sure what they made the cows initially immune to - maybe they immunized them to the wrong stuff so it's no use to people that might have a different organism they are trying to fight with it.

Anyway there are lots of people saying that colostrum did make them feel better.

The healing part normally involves lots of probiotics but if you have a leaky gut you might be adversely affected by the bacteria since your leaky gut lets bacteria directly into your bloodstream.

See this article as an example:
Lactobacillus sepsis associated with probiotic therapy.

In my case if I try to have probiotics I wake up with bags under my eyes - possibly too much strain on the liver trying to fight billions of bacteria getting into the bloodstream. My doc told me to take probiotics when I told him I suspected leaky gut. I told him my concern is bacteria getting into the bloodstream can't be a good thing however nice that bacteria might be. He seemed pissed off, probably never thought of that.

Anyway, here is a sample regimen that says too you need to kill the parasite that is causing your leaky gut first. Then you try to take some stuff that is supposed to help you "patch up" your leaky gut. Then you go on the probiotics once you are reasonably sure your leaky gut is better.
