The anus/rectum get quite a workout during a liver flush. If you had a hemorrhoid, it may have bled a bit. Often, people don't notice internal hemorrhoids until they bleed.

The best cure is to increase fiber in the diet. My favorite way to increase fiber, while helping liver flushing, is to eat a whole organic apple 10 minutes before every meal and again before bed.

Fresh apples provide malic acid, to soften the stones, as well as soluble fiber and insoluble fiber, and loads of other nutrients. The apples provide about half of the fiber one needs daily. It will be easy to get the rest in a healthy diet. The side benefit is that one tends to eat less at the meal.

Healthy bowels need soluble fiber, not only psyllium type roughage. Soluble fiber discourages the liver from producing LDL cholestrol -- fewer liver stones ! Soluble fiber also helps grab and eliminate toxins from the bowels. Most important for you, soluble fiber helps produce softly formed eliminations. Softening hard stools and forming soft stools.

Easy evacuation of softly formed stools is key to curing and preventing recurrance of hemorrhoids.
