Bit of news which may not be candida related at all. I saw the consultant this afternoon who after listening to my tale of woe, did an ultrasound scan on my liver and spotted some kind of abnormality about 3cm.
If my liver is not working properly, that would explain my growing list of known food allergies , and why the candida diet made me feel better, the detox and everything else.

It appears to be of rather an urgent nature as I only saw the Consultant at 5.30 this afternoon, yet I am booked in as an urgent case tomorrow morning, 8.am for 2 days for biopsies and loads of other tests as well as a colonoscopy and endoscopy. I dont know at present what all the other tests are to be.
To 'celebrate' the fact it probably is not candida, I bought myself a bag of sweeties....naughty but very nice all the same :o)

I will update if anyone replies to this post/is interested.
