Wow, that's really amazing, especially the one over your eye. It does appear to involve collagen, and there's no appearance of trauma, infection, scarring or sclerosis. It looks like the collagen just disappeared.

I posted a few ideas down below, but don't know if they're even in the ballpark. Just guesses.
