Just wanted to give the forum an update.

After speaking w/ numerous doctors, I'm trying my own protocol to rid myself of this nice little protozoa that has been in my intestines for the past 3 years.

The protocol is as follows:

First 10 days - Flagyl + Iodoquinol + Bactrim
Second 10 days - Alinia + Iodoquinol

I've also been taking Nexium for acid reflux and L-Oranthine at night to help with the effects from toxin die-off.

I should also note I've been following the Strict Carbohydrates Diet during the protocol and will continue to follow it thereafter. This has made a notable difference in my small intestines inflammation.

I'll be concluding the protocol with VSL#3 and continued use of Nexium.

And so far... I feel AMAZING! The first 5 days were really rough. I had terrible die-off symptoms. My shoulders, neck and head were in excruciating pain. I could literally feel my intestines popping out of my abdomen. It was so tender. There was a nice little battle going on inside of me but I'm hoping and praying I won.

Although my stools were easy to come out, they were not formed. But I feel like it's a work in progress as my gut repairs. As of today, my stools are starting to become more and more formed and more normalized.

My sinuses are as clear as ever and my joint pain has diminished. My stomach looks less bloated then ever and I have a ton of energy.

Half-way through and feeling good. Hoping the second 10 days and the time thereafter prove to be even better.
